The First Strike XP is a .68 caliber mag-fed paintball pistol designed for precision and customization, which builds upon the foundation of its predecessor, the FSC. It features a re-engineered CO2 system that is separate from the magazine, an optics-ready mount, and compatibility with both standard paintballs and First Strike Rounds (FSR). 
Key features
Split CO2 and magazine design: The biggest change from the FSC model is the integrated CO2 system, which is housed in the grip rather than the magazine. This enables faster and quieter reloads, and the magazines are cheaper to produce.
Quick-puncture CO2 system: The pistol uses 12-gram CO2 cartridges that are punctured with a quick "slap" button at the base of the grip, allowing for instant readiness in-game. A single cartridge yields around 18 shots, or about three magazines.
Optics-ready slide: The top of the pistol has a factory-cut mounting pad for RMR-style red dot sights, offering faster target acquisition.
Enhanced sights: In addition to the optics mount, the XP comes with high-contrast iron sights, featuring a green fiberglass rear reticle that is self-illuminating in daylight for better visibility.
Dual ammo compatibility: The XP can fire both standard .68 caliber round paintballs and shaped First Strike Rounds, which are known for their accuracy at longer distances.
Adjustable velocity: A compact, integrated regulator allows for easy adjustment of velocity to meet field limits and ensure consistent performance.
